I recently went on amazing trip to Hood River, Oregon to celebrate the wedding of my best friend and his beautiful bride. It was an amazing weekend I will not soon forget. It started off in Portland which is a pretty awesome city if you have never been. Really amazing food scene and some really well curated shops that I could help but grab a few things.
Not that I am an avid outdoorsman but I do love a lot of the gear that outfitters sell and am sucker for well made local gear. I popped in to Poler to check out few things to see if there was anything for groom or myself before heading up to Hood River. Poler is the place for the person who wants to infuse some style into the great outdoors with some good #campervibes.
After a little shopping I headed up to Hood River. It was my first experience and it will not be my last. The beauty was jaw dropping with Columbia River cutting through the mountains and the quaint little situated between it all. It was also one of the best places to kite board in the country. I was salivating at the opportunity to get out there. I would not get that chance but did grab some great gear that was on sale.
Most our time was obligated to wedding activities. We did get some time to bum around Hood River and check the fine micro brews and delicious food the town has to offer. We managed to drink beer from a few microbreweries in town including Full Sail and Double Mountain. I recommend both highly.
The actual wedding was at the Mount Hood Organic Farms. It was the best setting for a wedding I have been to yet. The groom had each of his groom get their own suits for the wedding as along as they were a different shade of grey. I will say it looked amazing. I purchased mine at Suit Supply and gave me an excuse to get a new suit. I got the La Spalla which is one of the best suits I have ever worn. I would highly recommend it, if you need a fancy occasion suit.
We drank and danced the night away celebrating my best friend and his amazing new wife in a beautiful location. It was a great weekend and I am already planning my next adventure out there.
